Technology

Modern technology has transformed many aspects of our lives, including medical care. What was impossible a few years ago is now routine, and what is impossible today may be within reach tomorrow. By taking advantage of the latest discoveries and developments, we can provide the highest quality of chiropractic care currently available. However, we are selective about what we incorporate into our practice, and we only utilize what has been adequately tested and proven safe and effective, according to our own uncompromising standards of excellence.

Spinal Decompression

One of the greatest advances in healing technology was the development of spinal decompression. The practice was founded by a highly respected physician named Allan Dyer, PhD, MD, whom Dr. David Wootton studied under. Although the technique has only gained widespread attention recently, we have been successfully using it for nearly 20 years.
Spinal decompression is a comfortable, non-surgical therapy that applies distraction force, relieving nerve compression. It has been proven effective in multiple clinical studies.
Currently, we use a state-of-the-art spinal decompression system, which works by gently separating compressed vertebrae below and above the affected disc. This action creates a vacuum that causes the herniation or bulge to retract, relieving pressure. It also helps hydrate the disc and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes by attracting oxygen, nutrients, and vital fluids to the disc.

Other Technology

Cold laser therapy, sometimes referred to as low-level laser therapy, is a non-surgical treatment often used for neck and shoulder problems, as well as conditions such as arthritis, elbow disorders, and carpal tunnel syndrome. This cutting-edge device is capable of delivering non-heat laser energy to the deep tissues, facilitating healing.
We also use technologies such as x-ray diagnostics, ultrasound therapy, and more. There are hundreds of different chiropractic techniques, and we often utilize a combination of several to achieve optimal results. Because each patient is unique, we begin with a comprehensive examination, and then devise a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
